 At Student Television Network, we are shaping the next generation of storytellers by empowering their voices through broadcast journalism, film and multimedia education.
STN was started in 1999 by a group of teachers who wanted to support and encourage scholastic broadcasting and to provide a forum for teachers to share ideas, ask questions, and learn from professionals in the industry.
Over the past 20 years, STN has expanded to include film, media and other forms of communication taught in high schools and middle schools. STN serves teachers and students with curriculum, community, and competitions year-round.
As STN grows, our efforts continue to diversify as we seek to serve our affiliates with new educational programming and resources. As the world of media and technology changes, so does STN. We welcome your input, ideas, and commitment to making Student Television Network the most professional educational organization for teachers and students.
